Hi, I’m Melissa Edwards.  I feel so blessed to be a part of all the exciting things happening at Life Church.  I want to share a little bit about myself and my reasons for being involved in Life Church worship.

First of all, I’ve been married to Jeremy for ten years.  God truly gave me the greatest husband anyone could ask for. He is such an inspiration to me.  We have two beautiful children, Trisha and Hunter, that we were fortunate enough to be able to adopt.

As the years go by, it never ceases to amaze me how God is so evident in our lives.  We’ve had a lot of up’s and down’s in recent years.  Yet God is so faithful.  I am so glad that we serve a God who cares about everything that we face.  He longs to walk close with us as we go through this life. I’m so thankful that we are not alone.

Over the years, it’s been my privilege to play the piano and sing for many of worship services.  I have always had such a passion for singing to the Lord as my form of worship.  It is my desire every time I play the piano or sing to bring honor to the King of Kings. It is so wonderful to be in his Holy presence.

It’s not about how perfect it sounds or how good everyone looks.

Our creator has given us the opportunity to come boldly before His presence to worship Him. It is my desire to take advantage of every opportunity to sing praises to His name.  I can envision one day bowing at His feet and crying, “Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty!!!”  Sometimes my heart is so overwhelmed when I think about God and His great love for us.  He truly is amazing!

I am so thrilled to be a part of the Life Church worship team. I don’t bring with me a degree in music or a professional background.  I do love to be in the presence of our savior. I believe that he inhabits our praise.

I have seen amazing things happen when we put ourselves aside and focus on Him.

I am so thankful for the opportunity to serve on the Life Church worship team.  To God be all the glory! I can’t wait to see what lies ahead for Life Church!!! It is an honor to worship with you as we celebrate our Savior!
