My name is Cassie Emrick. I am so excited to be involved in the children’s ministry at Life Church! I wanted to share a little bit about myself to help my church family get to know me a little bit better. I am currently the K-5 Life Kids director. I am absolutely loving this position! I cannot wait to see how the new curriculum helps our children become even better servants to God.
I am a single mother of two wonderful daughters, Mackenzie Dille (10) and Samantha Dille (7). These girls are such an amazing and intricate part of my life. Wherever you see me, you will see them right beside me. We are a very simple and spiritual family. We love to talk and pray together. We have a very small extended family and they mean the world to us. As a family, we love to be outdoors and do outside things on our farm. We also enjoy fishing, hiking, reading, swimming, doing yoga and exercise together, watching movies and hanging out with family and friends at cookouts or get togethers. And as for us and our house, we serve the Lord.
I have also been a teacher for the past 10 years. I have taught first, second, third and fourth grades. I loved every minute of it! I took some time off this year to spend with my kids as well as take care of my grandmother. I feel so very blessed to be able to teach the kids again, but in a different realm… how to be servants. I am so privileged to work with these kids! I have recently found a new curriculum I hope you all will love as well. My prayer is that the kids will be excited to learn and absorb these teachings like sponges and reach out to others in the name of Jesus.
