We’re not eating so that other kids can! It’s hard to toss last night’s leftovers knowing nearly 8,000 children under the age of five die every day because of hunger-related causes.

This August 2-3, High Life Students who have completed grades 6-12 will be doing a 30-Hour Famine to learn about today’s hunger crisis and how we can help here in our community and around the world. They will learn about hunger, raise funds to help the hungry, and then go hungry themselves.

Will you help? Adults are invited to an interest meeting Sunday, June 9, right after church.Visit http://www.30hourfamine.org to learn more.
