The Free Store (located inside Maple Street UMC) is looking for volunteers to sort donated items on Tuesdays and Fridays. They also serve lunch on Wednesdays and Fridays and could use help in the kitchen with preparation and serving those lunches. Foundation Dinners is now able to have a limited number of volunteers help in food preparation as well as counseling, job search assistance and more to help express compassion to those who need it here in Lancaster. Foundation Shelters needs folks to lend a hand to their Innkeepers. The tasks include passing out supplies, helping applicants complete the application, folding laundry and similar tasks. The shelter also could use donations of ladies & mens undergarments, body wash, hand soap, medium & large size Depends, toilet paper, paper towels, Lysol, laundry detergent, emergency rain ponchos, coffee, sugar and creamer. Scioto Youth Camp is always looking for volunteers. Helping make improvements to the building & grounds, helping feed the staff and campers, serving on the worship teams, helping on the crew during a summer camp, and more! Breakfast 4 U Pleasantville could use your help packaging breakfast bags for school-age children every Tuesday 6pm at Pleasantville UMC. Usually takes about 30 minutes.

Meals on Wheels Fairfield County Be a Meals On Wheels volunteer and stand up with us to help seniors live out the independent lives they deserve. Current urgent volunteer opportunities/needs: Meal Delivery Drivers, Kitchen/Dining Room Helpers, Tele-Friend, and Commodity Box Delivery. Volunteer times are Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am-3:00pm and can be once a month, once or twice a week, or whatever fits your schedule. GRACE HAVEN MINISTRIES has opened a store, Grace Haven New & Used, as a way to support their ministry. It is located at 333 South Broad St in Lancaster. Their hours of operation are Mondays and Fridays 9am-5pm and every 3rd Satruday from 9am-3pm. You can donate any new or gently used clothing or household items during their regular business hours. PREGNANCY DECISION HEALTH CENTER is having their annual Bottles for Life campaign. It will run from Mother’s Day to Father’s Day. We will have baby bottles here at the church for you to take home and fill with your spare change, we have envelopes as well.
